You can reschedule or cancel through our booking assistant (the chat icon on our website), the link in your confirmation or reminder message, or by calling 03 9021 1377.
Please give us at least 48 hours’ notice. If you cancel with less than 48 hours’ notice or don’t attend, a fee of 50% of the session fee applies. Medicare doesn’t rebate missed appointments, so this fee is paid out of pocket.
We know things come up. If something unexpected happens, please call us and we’ll do our best to work with you.
-
Each clinician sets their own fees, which are listed on their profile. We’ll always confirm your fees before your first appointment, so you know what to expect.
-
Yes, for psychology. With a referral and Mental Health Treatment Plan from your GP, you can claim a Medicare rebate for up to 10 sessions each calendar year. Mental health nursing sessions are privately billed and aren’t currently covered by Medicare.
-
Not if you’d prefer to see us privately. Private clients are welcome without a referral, and full fees apply. A GP referral and Mental Health Treatment Plan are only needed if you want to claim a Medicare rebate.
-
Yes, some clinicians can take TAC and Workcover clients. Please call to book these appointments and have your claim number and approval details ready. We will confirm how your sessions will be billed.
-
Some extras policies cover psychology. Check with your health fund. You can’t claim Medicare and private health insurance for the same session.
-
Consistency is an important part of good care. Your clinician will talk with you about how often to meet at your first appointment, so you can plan ahead, including for costs.
-
If you or your family have high out-of-pocket medical costs in a calendar year, you may reach the Medicare Safety Net threshold. Once you do, you may get a higher Medicare rebate for eligible services. To find out more, visit Services Australia: Medicare Safety Net, or speak with our team.
